Mr. Polexi was raised in Orlando, FL and joined the Marine Corps in 2000 under the Military Occupational Specialty of Supply Administration. During his enlistment, he performed a myriad of duties to include but not limited to S-4 Chief, Camp Maintenance Coordinator, Bachelor Quarters Noncommissioned Officer, Safety Representative and Hazardous Material/Waste Manager.
Upon separating from the Marine Corps in 2008, Mr. Polexi successfully transitioned into the U.S. Federal workforce as the Billeting Operations Officer for Marine Corps Bases Japan. In 2012, Mr. Polexi was selected as the Regional Bachelor Housing Manager, overseeing the management, administration, and operations of the Bachelor Housing Program for MCIPAC-MCBButler which encompasses Camps/Station in Okinawa, MCAS Iwakuni, Fuji, Mujuk and MCB Hawaii.
Throughout his career, Mr. Polexi has been an avid volunteer in the community. His work includes teaching English while stationed in Japan and Korea, beach cleanups, Special Olympics, Feeding the Homeless at the Salvation Army, and fight against crime with Law Enforcement Agencies. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University and a Bachelor’s in Management Studies from the University of Maryland University College.
Mr. Polexi’s military and civilian accolades include: Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal with two gold stars in lieu of third award, Certificate of Commendation, Meritorious Mast, various Letters and Certificates of Appreciation, and employee of the quarter.
Mr. Polexi assumed the duties as Camp Director, Camp Kinser in May 2016.
