The Commanding Officer of Headquarters and Support Battalion, MCIPAC-MCBB exercises delegated authority over Camps Foster, Lester, and Plaza Family Housing. The Commanding Officer, HQSPTBN, MCIPAC-MCBB also possess direct tasking authority with III MEF tenant commands regarding safety, police (i.e., general order and welfare), and general facilities maintenance functions.

The Camp Services Division assists the Camp Commander in providing operational, logistical, morale, safety, and security support for the camp and its tenants in accordance with applicable higher directives.
