Headquarters and Support Battalion Family Readiness Officer

SSgt Daryen Mallory

Welcome to the H&S Battalion family!

I am SSgt Mallory, your Family Readiness Officer (FRO), and I look forward to supporting you and your loved ones during their tour in Okinawa.
Here at H&S BN, my mission is ensure our Marines and their families have knowledge of, and access to, the extensive resources available through the Marine Corps, MCCS, Camp Butler, and the community. Along with the Family Readiness Office, I am here to direct you to resources such as Counseling, New Parent Support, Family Member Employment Assistance, Financial Support, and Spouse Tuition Assistance, just to name a few. We are here to provide information and referral services so Marines and their loved ones can take advantage of these valuable resources.

I also provide readiness and deployment support for Marines and their families by maintaining communication between the Command and the Marines' families. It is my goal that our families stay informed while their Marines are away and, in turn, to give our Marines the comfort of knowing their loved ones are being cared for during deployments.

Throughout the year, I coordinate Battalion events that both foster camaraderie and boost morale. We are constantly hosting events for our couples, spouses, children, single Marines, and families, so be sure to check for the weekly FRO update in your email! Overall, my goal is to help your Military member balance life, career, and mission.

Please feel free to stop by my office and visit if you are here locally! Whether it be you are seeking resources, have questions, are interested in volunteer opportunities, or just feel like saying hello, you are always welcome! I look forward to getting to know you and hope you will not hesitate to contact me!

Very Respectfully,
Mallory SSgt Daryen V.
